Here’s this page where I’m supposed to describe myself, which I don’t love doing. Kind of a necessary evil though. I know I like to connect and learn more about the person whose writing I’m reading, so I feel like I should provide that space here for whoever has stumbled on this blog.
So the fast facts…
My name is Emily. I live in East Tennessee, born and raised. I’ve been married to my husband for almost 8 years and we have a precious toddler boy and two pug dogs.
I’ve been on staff at a non-profit in my city for almost 7 years now and truly believe I have the best job in the world.
Outside of being a wife, a mom, and working, I love cooking (and eating), volunteering at our church, finding projects to do in our home (my husband really loves this about me), and spending time with my people.
This blog is an experiment in healing for me as I seek to find good news every day in the midst of our ever changing circumstances. To that end I hope whoever may be reading my writing finds encouragement and healing in their lives as well.
And that’s the end of this page.
